Polycarbonate Greenhouse Cover

Polycarbonate (PC) is a transparent and rigid thermoplastic commonly used in greenhouses due to its durability. It is produced in various thicknesses with two layers and an air gap in between, offering flexibility and high resistance to fire and impact. Polycarbonate sheets are plastic panels that can be thermoformed or cold-bent, maintaining their strength at extremely low and high temperatures. They feature UV protection against sunlight, are resistant to outdoor conditions, are 50% lighter than glass, and have 300 times greater impact resistance.

The Climax Series we use consists of 7-wall sheets with 16–20 mm thickness and 9-wall sheets with 25–32 mm thickness. These energy-efficient panels provide significantly higher insulation than traditional 2-wall sheets, with a thermal conductivity of 1.25 W/m²K, contributing greatly to maintaining internal greenhouse temperature.
