Seedling Benches

When cultivating seedlings under cover, the required seedling area is calculated after determining the number of seedlings and space needed. Large structures and compartments can be divided into sectors with plastic or polycarbonate partition walls. However, the ventilation and heating of each section should be adjusted separately. After the seedling cultivation is completed, these areas can be repurposed for other uses.

In tray-based seedling cultivation, tables or shelving systems are needed to place the seedling containers. The width of the tables placed along the sides of the greenhouse is typically 1.10 meters, while those placed in the center should be 2.20 meters wide. The walkway width should be set at 80 cm. This setup facilitates the easy transportation of seedling trays. Additionally, once seedling cultivation is complete, these greenhouses can also be used for vegetable production. This flexibility helps optimize greenhouse usage and offers farmers the opportunity to grow different crops.
