Ventilation

Greenhouse ventilation is achieved through openings placed on the sidewalls and roofs of the structure. Roof windows are typically the most effective for ventilation. These windows and ventilation openings, when open, provide efficient airflow within the greenhouse, and when closed, they shut completely, leaving no gaps. This prevents warm air from escaping through small window openings, helping reduce fuel consumption and heating costs during colder seasons.

The ventilation openings designed by Iska Greenhouse are engineered not to create drafts directly over the plants. Instead, they ensure adequate air exchange in the plant area without allowing incoming fresh air to hit the plants directly. Additionally, the ventilation elements must be waterproof and resistant to storm conditions. These features are crucial to maintaining greenhouse durability and protecting plant health.
