The government provides special financial support to greenhouse farmers engaged in covered agriculture activities. In particular, low-interest greenhouse loans are offered by Ziraat Bank, and additional support can be obtained from the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (TKDK).

Ziraat Bank’s Interest-Discounted Greenhouse Loan:

• Covers up to 75% of the investment cost.

• Secured loans can have a term of up to 120 months.

• Payment terms available in 3, 6, or 12-month installments.

• The 2022 program offers a 7-year loan with a 2-year grace period, depending on the project content.

• Through the Agricultural Credit Cooperative and Ziraat Bank, cash support with 50% to 100% interest discount is available up to a maximum of 25 million TL for those producing under modern and controlled greenhouse conditions.

• For existing greenhouses, zero-interest loans up to 50,000 TL can be used for improvements.

To apply for a greenhouse loan, you must visit the branches of the banks offering these loans. Certain documents are required for agricultural support during the application process:

Ziraat Bank State-Supported Covered Agriculture (Greenhouse) Loan

With its plant production credit campaign, Ziraat Bank offers special greenhouse loans to finance the operational expenses of greenhouses through both investment and working capital credit products.

This includes controlled covered farming, orchards, fields, and soilless plant production. Greenhouse loans granted to businesses registered with the Greenhouse Registration System (ÖKS), in compliance with the regulation for recording covered agriculture production, are considered state-supported loans.

Working capital loans finance production-related expenses such as fertilizer, pesticide, transport, and insurance. Investment loans can be used to purchase or build new greenhouses, orchards, and storage facilities.

If the production qualifies under the provisions of the 2022 Presidential Decree, subsidized and low-interest state-supported greenhouse loans will be granted.
